My work out week!

Hello!

I wanted to post a quick pic of how I keep track of my workout week!  I love to draw so instead of it being a typed out list I did a little day by day tracker.  Sometimes I adjust what body part I lift based on if Coach Candice and I worked something or not.  If we did lots of upper body I will sub in legs for shoulder days so that way my body is getting all worked out.  But every cardio session is 45 min and I don't have any time restrictions for lifting, as long as I can get in a good lift I'm happy!   About 30-40 minutes is average depending on how crazy busy the gym is.

Here's my week plan:

Yeah I know, it's bright :)  I keep it on my fridge next to my food menu!  I also keep a copy in my car so if I go to the gym right after work I'll be able to keep on track with what I'm working out.  The main changes from my journey has been from my diet.  The ability to stick to the plan has led to some really positive changes.  My skin looks better, I have a lot of energy, I sleep much better and through the night, I naturally wake up early and ready to do my workouts.  It's kind of crazy but my discipline in my whole life has changed.  I used to slack a little with cleaning or work around the house, and now I take the free opportunities I have to clean and cook and prep meals.  I like to make sure that my husband also has his meals ready when I have to work late.  It helps me balance more of my life to have it all planned out.  My workouts are important so they are scheduled into my week just like anything else!  It's my time to take care of myself and make sure I am putting in the work for this commitment!  So if you find yourself just going through the motions and just playing it by ear on when you'll work out maybe writing a realistic schedule to work out will help!  If you can only make it to the gym or do cardio 2-3 times a week then that's 2-3 times per week you will be consistent with it!!  Don't feel like you have to jump in to 6 days a week two times per day.  Be realistic when setting your schedule and you'll be able to carry it on much longer than a schedule that is booked to the max and overwhelming!   I hope your days and weeks are balanced and you are able to fit in taking care of you!  Because whether that's relaxing time, cleaning, working out, eating healthy, or watching a movie with your family it all takes care of you!  And that's most important! :)

Cheers!
Ash
